Climate Action Sierra Leone

Climate Action Sierra Leone is a community-based organisation operating in the Bo district, Southern Province. As a youth-led organisation, we are focused on empowering and educating youths, school pupils and communities to become actors in the fight against climate change. We strive to support afforestation as a key tool for carbon sequestration and one of the methods to offset the losses caused by deforestation. Waste management is also at the heart of our mission. We promote sustainable waste management through encouraging source separation, reuse and support schools with colour-coded bins to ensure ecological safety and enhance recycling and composting.
