About Nareto Latia indigenous people's program

NLIPP is a community based organization founded with a premise of community togetherness in advocating for the fundamental rights of the most marginalized and underserved members of the society who are mostly women and girls. The foundation building blocks of Nareto are the individual community women living their daily experiences of hardship, marginalization and violence came up with a solution to end the same cycles. Our mission is to empower indigenous women and girls with tools to work their way out of poverty, care for their families, and strengthen their communities. We envision a world without poverty in which women are empowered, uplifted as equal partners in society. Women live in safe, sustainable environments that include adequate food, water, housing, education, right to own land and health care. They possess the tools to provide a better life for themselves and their families and they have the hope, opportunity and ability to control their lives.
